Mike Tyson Visited a Maine Cannabis Dispensary Last Friday

The one of the greatest of all-time, hit the 207 over the weekend

Everyone in the Eliot, Maine area is buzzing (no pun intended) over an appearance by boxing legend, Iron Mike Tyson, who popped in at East Coast Cannabis, this past Friday afternoon.

During a private meet-and-greet event, Tyson celebrated his recent partnership with the dispensary.

30 lucky raffle winners got to mingle with him, along with the staff of East Coast Cannabis. Tyson was in town to promote his Tyson 2.0 cannabis company, which sells products in the store.

Everyone who was able to get a pic and chat with him, found to him to be a pretty cool guy.

Based on the names of some of his products, he still has that sense of humor that we all saw in the movie “The Hangover”, and of course there is a reference to his infamous incident with Evander Holyfield, in June of 1997, when Tyson bit off a part of Holyfield’s ear during the fight.

Tyson will also be a part of what is sure to be one of the biggest pop culture moments of 2024, when he fights Jake Paul, on November 15, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, live on Netflix

The fight was originally set for July 20, but was postponed after Tyson suffered a medical emergency on a plane in May.

Mike Tyson, 58, is a former heavyweight champ, with a 50-6 record, while Paul, 27, is a YouTuber-turned-boxer with a 10-1 record.

New Maine Laws (2024)

Dozens of new laws recently went on the books in Maine. Here is a sampling of some of the more notable laws.

The weekend witnessed an exciting event for the Eliot, Maine community, with boxing legend Mike Tyson making an appearance at East Coast Cannabis. Tyson visited the dispensary this past Friday afternoon, creating a buzz among locals.

The purpose of Tyson’s visit was to celebrate his recent partnership with the dispensary. The event featured a private meet-and-greet, allowing 30 lucky raffle winners and the staff of East Coast Cannabis to interact with the former heavyweight champion. Tyson used the event to promote his Tyson 2.0 cannabis company, which offers products through the dispensary.

Attendees who had the chance to meet Tyson found him to be personable and approachable. His well-known sense of humor was evident in the product names from his cannabis line, some of which playfully reference memorable moments from his career, including the notorious incident with Evander Holyfield in June 1997, when Tyson infamously bit off part of Holyfield’s ear during a fight.

A few of the product names from Tyson 2.0 include:

  • Mike Bites
  • Night Bites
  • Corkscrew
  • Desert Toad
  • Dynamite Cookies
  • Mike’s Meringue
  • The Jawbreaker
  • Tiger Mintz

Besides his cannabis venture, Tyson is gearing up for what promises to be a significant pop culture event in 2024—a boxing match against Jake Paul. The fight is scheduled for November 15, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas and will be streamed live on Netflix. Originally set for July 20, the match was postponed following a medical emergency Tyson experienced on a plane in May.

Mike Tyson, now 58 years old, boasts an impressive boxing record of 50 wins and 6 losses. His opponent, Jake Paul, a 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer, holds a 10-1 record. The upcoming fight has generated substantial anticipation, given both fighters’ popularity and the media attention surrounding it.
