Millie Bobby Brown has revealed her new name in a recent social media post, delighting fans.

The British actor first rose to fame at the age of 12, starring in the Netflix hit “Stranger Things” and building her career under her birth name. While many celebrities opt to change their names for industry purposes—like Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, and Lady Gaga—Millie chose not to, until now.

In a recent Instagram post, the 20-year-old uploaded a series of photos captioned “11 in 5,” referring to her character Eleven as she shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the highly anticipated fifth and final season of “Stranger Things,” which is set to be released on Netflix sometime next year.

Among the series of photos was an image of Millie in her Eleven costume, complete with a recognizable bloody nose, and another of her dog, Winnie the poodle, relaxing with her on set. However, what caught social media users’ particular attention was the third photo. It showed a black slate with Brown’s name written on a piece of tape, which read “Millie Bobby Brown.”

But an additional name at the end, “Bongiovi,” revealed the actor’s new full name: “Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi.” This addition is the surname of Millie’s husband, Jake Bongiovi, confirming the couple’s recent marriage. The couple got engaged in April 2023, and Jake’s father, rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, confirmed in May that the two had married in a private ceremony.

“They are great, they are absolutely fantastic,” Jon Bon Jovi told the BBC. “It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous. Jake is happy as can be. It’s true.”

In the comments section of Millie’s post, fans shared their excitement about her name change and recent marriage. One fan commented, “Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi sounds so powerful.” Another wrote, “‘Bobby Brown Bongiovi’ is the new tongue twister.”
