Miranda Lambert Poses Boldly with a Statue in Italy

Miranda Lambert is showing off her sense of humor!

The country star, 40, shared a glimpse of the fun-filled activities and stunning sights she saw during her Italy vacation with her husband Brendan McLoughlin in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Included in the carousel of 17 photos was a rather cheeky shot of her posing with a sculpture of a naked man while she appeared to be dining at a restaurant. In the photo, Lambert — whose new album, Postcards From Texas, will be released on Friday, Sept. 13 — has a mischievous smile on her face as she gives the statue a pinch.

Clearly getting a kick out of the photo, one of her followers wrote, “cracking up @ that one pic 🤏🏼🤏🏼 you know the one,” in the comments. Another joked, “Really? You’re how old? 😂😂😂.”

In addition to admiring the Italian art, the 31-time ACM Awards winner revealed a bit of her and her husband’s itinerary — including sharing a glass of wine outside while they soaked up some sunshine.

The couple also took a romantic boat ride, shared a fresh pizza and red wine, and enjoyed some live music while strolling through the ancient streets.

In another photo, the pair appear to take a cooking class together and try their hand at an Italian recipe. McLoughlin rocks a red apron that says, “Cooking in Florence” in the shot.

Another sweet snap shows the couple walking through the narrow streets with their arms wrapped around each other.

“Until next time Italy! 🇮🇹🍕🍝💚🍷,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you for your beauty, history, art, wine, gelato, sweetest people and the memories.” She also tagged the European country in the location.

Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot in January 2019, just three months after they met when the singer was performing on Good Morning America and the former police officer was working as security. The couple kept their marriage a secret until Lambert announced the news in a Valentine’s Day post in 2019.

In May 2024, Lambert opened up to PEOPLE about the secret to their marriage.

“It’s communication. We just talk it out, whatever it is, we talk about everything,” Lambert told PEOPLE at the time. “And I think communication is super important, especially because women, we expect men to know what we’re thinking and they don’t. We got to tell them.”
