Miranda Lambert Reunites with Husband Brendan McLoughlin Post-Scandal

Country star Miranda Lambert dispelled marriage rumors with an Instagram post on Thursday, showcasing her beaming alongside her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

The post arrived after a video emerged showing Brendan dancing with multiple women at Miranda’s Casa Rosa bar in Nashville last month.

The Instagram carousel included three photos of Miranda enjoying her hometown in Texas. The first image showed Miranda smiling with country singer Gwen Bastian, both sporting blue and orange Whataburger hats.

The second photo captured her floating on the Guadalupe River with her mom Bev, while the third featured her and Brendan at the Austin FC versus FC Dallas football game, both donning green team colors.

The 40-year-old singer, with a following of 4.8 million, captioned the post, “Tell me you’re from Texas without telling me you’re from Texas”.

Fans swarmed the comments section to commend the ‘Somethin’ Bad’ singer for her visible happiness. Fast food brand Whataburger even complimented her hat, commenting, “Elite hat choice”. Country singer Wade Bowen added to the praise with fire emojis.

Another fan expressed joy seeing Brendan with Miranda, posting, “Oh, I’ve never been happier to see @brendanjmcloughlin with you!”. This came after Miranda shared a cryptic TikTok last week, possibly alluding to her husband’s scandal.

In the TikTok, Miranda waves to the camera with text below reading, “This is your sign to…”, followed by another shot of a green field captioned, “…Say goodbye to anything that isn’t serving you anymore”.

She accompanied the video with a mysterious caption, “Sometimes the grass is actually greener on the other side…” and set it to her new song ‘Dammit Randy’, co-written with her husband.

The song narrates a relationship turned sour, with lyrics like, “Well, dammit, Randy, did you ever hear me at all?/You were standin’ bone dry in the middle of a waterfall/You were livin’ in the dark, but you couldn’t see the light of day/We were picture perfect, but you couldn’t put it in a frame”.

Fans speculated a potential split, concerned for the singer’s welfare. One user commented on the TikTok post, “must have saw [sic] the bar video”.

Brendan McLoughlin, a former New York policeman, met Miranda just two months before they married in January 2019. He has a young child, Landon, from a previous relationship.

“We didn’t date very long before we got married. And so we sort of got to just really, really, really get to know each other,” Miranda shared with Sirius XM about the couple’s move to Tennessee post-wedding.

“It was just us two with no distraction at my farm outside of Nashville. And so I was really thankful for it because it made us really strong.”

Previously, Miranda was married to country star Blake Shelton from 2011 until their separation in 2015. Blake is now married to his The Voice co-star and No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani.
