Molly-Mae Speaks Out on Instagram After Split with Tommy Fury

Molly-Mae Hague has expressed her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support following her breakup with Tommy Fury. On August 27, the former Love Island star shared a photo on Instagram, captioned, “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for.”

The duo met on ITV’s Love Island and finished as runners-up in the fifth season back in 2019. They were engaged in July 2023 and share a daughter together.

Hague, 25, took to her Instagram Story on August 14 to announce the breakup. “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” she began. “After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”

“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end,” she continued. “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us, there would be no her; she will always be my priority.”

Hague concluded her statement with, “I’ll be back when it feels right,” and signed off with “Molly-Mae x.”

Tommy Fury also released a statement about the split on social media. “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship,” he said. “The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”

Hague did not provide a reason for their split, but allegations soon emerged. A day after her announcement, sources told The US Sun that Fury had been unfaithful, an accusation Fury denied through a representative.

On August 26, Milla Corfixen, a 20-year-old jewellery assistant who had vacationed in Ohrid, North Macedonia, at the same time as Fury, confirmed that she kissed Fury in a nightclub. The Danish native, who has since removed all her Instagram posts due to “hate and nasty comments,” clarified that she “only shared a kiss, nothing else” with Fury.

Corfixen added, “If I’d known about Molly-Mae, I would never have kissed him back.”
