Morgan Wallen Cancels Florida and North Carolina Shows Due to Illness

Morgan Wallen has canceled three shows in Tampa and North Carolina due to illness.

The hitmaker, 31, who has been hit onstage with a cell phone and a pair of lingerie in recent days was due to take to the stage at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Friday – before performing in Charlotte on July 18 and 19 at Bank of America Stadium.

The star revealed on X that he has been forced to reschedule the shows, writing: ‘I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today.

‘I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight’s Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week’s Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.’

Some 150,000 people attended Thursday night’s show at Raymond James stadium in Tampa, and an equal number of fans was expected to show up for Friday night’s concert.

The Country Music Award winner will be kicking off his own Beautifully Broken tour in late August.
Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay will be part of the warmup through October, when Ernest Shaboozey and Allie Colleen will take over through the end of November.
