Natalie Portman showcased a striking look on Thursday at the New York City premiere of her upcoming Apple TV+ limited series “Lady in the Lake.” The Oscar-winning actress was accompanied by her costar Moses Ingram and the series’ director Alma Har’el for the red carpet event.
For the premiere, Portman chose an ensemble from Dior’s 2025 cruise collection. She wore an embroidered bustier dress paired with a black belt and velvet shorts. The strapless bustier featured a peekaboo bra element, adding to the ensemble’s allure.
Her outfit was detailed with delicate beading and a contemporary design. A black belt cinched the waist perfectly. Complementing the outfit, Portman wore strappy black sandal heels and kept her accessories minimal with stud earrings and dainty rings, forgoing a necklace and bracelet.
Portman’s makeup included classic elements along with a bold smoky eye and a soft pink lip. Her hair was styled in a chignon, with a few wisps framing her face. Portman has been an ambassador for the luxury French fashion house Dior for over a decade and is the face of the Miss Dior fragrance.
The featured look is part of Dior’s 2025 cruise collection, which debuted in Scotland in June. The collection draws inspiration from Clare Hunter, a textile expert and author of “Embroidering Her Truth: Mary Queen of Scots and the Language of Power.”
Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs for this collection include elements of both warrior and ladylike inspiration, referencing the Elizabethan era.
In addition to her solo photos, Portman posed with her costar Moses Ingram and “Lady in the Lake” director Alma Har’el.
Moses Ingram looked stunning in a Cinderella-inspired white gown with large floral embellishments in metallic gold and silver running down the corset. Designed by Harbison Studio, the dress featured cap sleeves. Ingram completed her look with an elegant updo and fringe framing her face.
The miniseries “Lady in the Lake,” based on Laura Lippman’s novel, follows an aspiring reporter (Portman) who investigates the mystery behind the death of a young woman (Ingram). The series is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on July 19.
