NBC to Launch Jimmy Fallon-Themed Haunted Maze at Rockefeller Center

NBC is transforming New York’s Rockefeller Center into a haunted house this Halloween. Teaming up with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and the creative minds behind Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, the company is set to debut “Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares.”

Scheduled to launch next month, “Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares” will feature a haunted maze experience inspired by the late night host’s nightmares. Guests can expect “10 terrifying rooms” filled with frights. Designed collaboratively with the Halloween Horror Nights team, the attraction promises to bring these nightmares to life through immersive sets, practical effects, and scares lurking around every corner.

Tickets for the experience start at $36.90 and will be available for purchase beginning August 22. The haunted maze will run through October 31 at NBC’s global headquarters.

“Tonightmares has got everything you need to get supremely frightened this Halloween,” said Fallon in a statement. “I’m not saying it has killer scarecrows, brain-hungry zombies, and an abandoned gas station in the middle of nowhere. But… it has… killer scarecrows, brain-hungry zombies, and an abandoned gas station in the middle of nowhere. Spoiler alert.”

Horror experiences have become a significant business for NBCUniversal. The Halloween Horror Nights attractions in both California and Florida attract thousands of visitors each night, featuring multiple elaborate haunted mazes based on NBCU intellectual properties.

As with Halloween Horror Nights, NBC notes that Fallon’s horror maze is not recommended for children under 14. Additionally, NBCU is developing a permanent horror-themed attraction in Las Vegas.

“Each year, we bring Halloween to life in new and exciting ways across NBCUniversal through Halloween-themed content and experiences,” said David O’Connor, president of franchise management and brand strategy. “Whether it’s expressed in our theme parks or through film and television, we’re building on our rich horror legacy and we’re thrilled to support Jimmy Fallon to pair his true fandom of the holiday with the expertise of our company to create this one-of-a-kind experience.”
