Need a Recap on ‘Emily In Paris’ Season 3? Here’s a Refresher for Season 4

Netflix released the third season of Emily In Paris in December 2022. Given that you’ve likely watched numerous other series since then, a little refresher can’t hurt before the fourth season arrives. The show isn’t complicated, so a brief summary of the season finale will suffice.

Emily and Gabriel seem destined to keep pining for each other, despite Gabriel’s inability to let go of Camille. In the season three finale, Gabriel and Camille made it to the altar. However, Camille aired her true thoughts instead of saying “I do.” She accused Gabriel and Emily of still being in love, causing quite the stir. This revelation hit Alfie hard, as he attended the ceremony believing Emily was his girlfriend.

Following this dramatic turn, both Alfie and Camille fled, presumably in different directions. This left Emily and Gabriel to have a private moment, during which Gabriel revealed that Camille was pregnant. And that’s where the season ended.

Darren Star, in a follow-up with Deadline, mentioned that these “star-crossed lovers” are deeply connected. However, he hinted that some significant unforeseen complications lie ahead, especially for Emily. He suggested that perhaps Emily and Gabriel are not meant to be together, at least not immediately.

The trailer for the fourth season reveals that Emily starts the upcoming season single. Alfie asks her for some space, yet Gabriel appears to be hiding in her shower. Intriguing, to say the least.

Emily In Paris returns for Season 4 on August 15.
