Neighbors Called Police on Saweetie and YG Over Domestic Dispute Concerns

California rap royalty Saweetie and YG might be facing some challenges in their relationship. According to TMZ, the couple’s neighbors called the police on Saturday (August 10) over concerns of a domestic dispute. Though the argument was loud enough to worry the neighbors, officers who arrived at the scene determined that it never turned physical. An incident report was filed once the couple had calmed down. The report mentioned that the argument was sparked by “phone drama.”

The couple was rumored to have broken up in January when the Instagram gossip account TheShadeRoom reported that a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed they had agreed to part ways. However, this speculation seemed to be put to rest in March when Saweetie made an appearance during YG and Tyga’s set at Rolling Loud California. They exchanged some flirty words and gestures, suggesting they were either back together or perhaps had never broken up.

Saweetie’s name also appears on the tracklist for YG’s upcoming album, Just Re’d Up 3, indicating that they are on good enough terms to work together. The two West Coast rappers have been dating for about a year; their relationship was first highlighted in March 2023, when they were photographed getting cozy on a vacation.

Since then, Saweetie and YG have collaborated on multiple songs and even went on tour together with Tyga last fall.
