Never Experienced Anything Like It

Josh Hartnett recently shared his unforgettable experience attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. While discussing his guest role in season 3 of “The Bear” with The Hollywood Reporter, Hartnett, 45, talked about his character’s Swiftie status and how attending Swift’s June concert was a special moment.

During the interview, Hartnett’s on-screen fiancée, Gillian Jacobs, humorously speculated that his character, Frank, would have a “stockpile of Taylor Swift friendship bracelets.” Hartnett agreed and recounted his own memorable experience at Swift’s show.

“Oh, sure. Of course, you’d have the friendship bracelets, especially since they got those concert tickets last season. Funnily enough, I went to the Eras Tour with my daughters recently, and it was wild,” Hartnett said, adding that it was a “good event” for his daughters’ first concert.

Hartnett elaborated, “I’ve never experienced anything like it: 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium losing their minds, including my two daughters. People were so respectful, my daughters were given so many bracelets, and everything was really sweet.”

Hartnett and his wife, Tamsin Egerton, are parents to four children. The couple, who began dating in 2012 and married in 2021, have always maintained a private life. They welcomed their first daughter in 2015, followed by two more kids in 2017 and 2019.

Earlier this year, when Hartnett was asked about the “Josh Hartnett Renaissance” on social media, he casually revealed that he and Egerton had quietly welcomed their fourth child. “I have four kids, I live in the countryside,” he shared with Gold Derby. “I’m busy either working or taking care of them, but thank you.”

As for the Eras Tour concert, this isn’t the first time Hartnett has been in a setting surrounded by screaming teens and music fans, both on and off screen. His upcoming film, “Trap,” draws inspiration from Swift’s record-breaking world tour.

In “Trap,” Hartnett plays a father who takes his daughter, played by Ariel Donaghue, to a pop star Lady Raven’s concert. However, the event turns into a trap set by the police to catch a serial killer, “The Butcher,” who the audience is led to believe is Hartnett’s character according to the trailer.

Director M. Night Shyamalan described the horror-thriller film to Empire as “What if ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ happened at a Taylor Swift concert?” Shyamalan, 53, revealed that the film is also partially inspired by Operation Flagship, a sting operation from the 1980s in which law enforcement lured fugitives by offering NFL tickets.
