New Deku Vs. Shigaraki Trailer Released by My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia might have released its final manga chapter, but the anime still has plenty to offer. Though this week doesn’t feature a new episode due to a brief hiatus for the 2024 Summer Olympics, Studio Bones has prepared a surprise for fans eagerly awaiting the showdown between Deku and Shigaraki. A new trailer for “Volume Three” of the seventh season has been unveiled, promising an intense battle between All For One and One For All. With Izuku Midoriya now facing his greatest adversary, the tide could be turning in favor of the heroes.

When we last saw Class 1-A in the series’ climactic fight, the situation for the crime fighters was dire. All For One had managed to heal his body using Eri’s Quirk, Dabi had risen to fight his brother Shoto once more, and Bakugo’s life remained in jeopardy. Despite Eraserhead and Monoma preventing Shigaraki from using the full extent of his Quirks, Shigaraki’s body had adapted to possess power comparable to All Might at his peak. Now that Deku is face-to-face with Tomura, the battle is poised to reach an entirely new level.

The latest trailer doesn’t just tease the epic clash but also revisits the Vestiges of One For All. Previous users of Deku’s Quirk continue to reside within his mind, offering guidance and advice for the challenges he’ll face. As Midoriya gears up for his most significant battle yet, he’ll need all the assistance he can get from the Vestiges.

Season Seven of My Hero Academia is not confirmed to be the definitive finale for the anime, even though the manga has concluded. It is speculated that an eighth season might follow, likely bringing the television series to its end if it continues to stick closely to the source material. Given the manga’s ending, the anime’s conclusion promises to be a major event in the medium when it ultimately airs.
