New ‘Jaws’ Lego Set Released: Check Out the Price

It’s finally here.

A legendary movie about a killer great white shark that defined the summer blockbuster has gotten a toy makeover and it’s finally available.

The Lego company is honoring the 1975 film “Jaws” with a new set based on the movie. The first “Jaws” movie was filmed in Massachusetts on Martha’s Vineyard.

The new “Jaws” Lego set includes the boat from the movie, called “The Orca.” It will also come with a Lego great white shark and Lego figurines of some of the main characters in the film, including salty fisherman Quint, scientist Matt Hooper, and Police Chief Martin Brody.

The price tag on the Jaws Lego set is $149.99.

The set officially came out earlier this month. While it is available, a note on the website says the purchase won’t ship until Sept. 1 as of Aug. 15.

You’ll be able to buy the set in Lego stores but you’ll also be able to buy it at www.LEGO.com/JAWS.

The “Jaws” set comes with 1,497 Lego pieces to assemble.
