Recently, Affleck was seen picking up a Chick-fil-A order at his rental home in Brentwood, California, on August 30, according to photos obtained by Page Six. While grabbing fast food might seem typical for many, long-time fans were surprised. They noticed that Affleck had significantly reduced his fast-food intake while he was with Lopez. Now, following their split, Affleck seems to have returned to his pre-Bennifer 2.0 habits.

For those who need a quick refresher, Lopez is known for her commitment to health and wellness. Towards the end of their relationship, the couple was often spotted looking tense in public. They even made headlines for visiting fast food joints, despite Lopez’s supposed stance against fast food due to health reasons.

Several reports have surfaced about the rules in their marriage, including one that claimed Affleck had to join Lopez at the gym every time she went, as per TheThings. With these kinds of rules, fast food was seen as a no-go. However, now that they have split, Affleck appears to be enjoying fast food without concern.

For those unfamiliar with their history, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They began dating shortly after and were engaged by the end of 2002, according to People. However, in 2003, they postponed their wedding and eventually broke up just days before the scheduled date, partly due to intense paparazzi attention and pressure. By 2004, their relationship had ended.

Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. They got engaged a year later and went on to marry in a lavish ceremony. However, by July 2024, rumors of their breakup started circulating.

After months of speculation, TMZ reported that Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, citing April 26, 2024, as the date of separation.
