New Royal Photo: King Charles Walks Alone After Church

New week, new striking royal photo.

On Sunday, King Charles was spotted taking a casual stroll on the Sandringham estate in London. In a striking photo taken of the royal, His Majesty looked quite dapper in a gray tailored suit with a light blue collared shirt, a blue and red tie, and chocolate brown loafers.

Prior to the photo being taken, the 75-year-old royal attended a church service at St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate. Shortly after his post-service stroll, King Charles took a moment to talk to well-wishers standing outside of the church.

According to an article published by the BBC, more than 100 people came out to see the king as he attended the church service. Members of the public said the monarch (who is currently undergoing medical treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer) was “looking a lot better.”

Now, this is not the first time the king has been photographed interacting with well-wishers following his cancer diagnosis. Back in April, King Charles, and his wife, Queen Camilla, 77, took part in a surprise walkabout outside of Windsor Castle to greet fans after attending the Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel. This year’s Easter Sunday service was the king’s first public appearance since starting his cancer treatment earlier this year.

During the stroll, per Hello! Magazine, His Majesty personally met a devoted royal admirer who wished him well on his journey to recovery. “Happy Easter, Your Majesty. Never give in, keep going strong,” the person said, according to the report.

After he thanked the well-wisher for their sincere comment, King Charles made a surprising comment about his marriage. While looking over at his wife, the monarch said with a smile, “I just obey my instructions.” (Pretty sound marriage advice coming from the king.)

Glad to see the king was in good spirits during his recent walkabout.
