Noel and Liam Gallagher from Oasis Announce 2025 Reunion Tour Dates

Oasis fans have long awaited a reunion, and their wishes are finally coming true.

Liam and Noel Gallagher, the famous brothers behind the legendary English rock band, announced Tuesday that Oasis will perform a series of shows in the U.K. and Ireland during the summer of 2025.

This reunion is significant, marking the first time in 15 years that the brothers will come together. The band infamously split in 2009 when Noel Gallagher left following a heated argument with his younger brother, Liam.

“This is it, this is happening,” the Gallaghers declared in identical posts on social media platform X on Tuesday morning.

They have scheduled 14 shows across five cities—Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin—set for July and August 2025. Tickets are slated to go on sale at 4 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on August 31. These dates will be the band’s “exclusive European appearances,” as noted by Noel in a follow-up post.

Furthermore, the tour’s official website hinted at plans for OASIS LIVE ’25 to venture to other continents outside Europe later in the year.

Oasis, one of the most successful British rock bands, was formed in Manchester in 1991. They quickly rose to fame with Liam and Noel Gallagher at the helm, leading the group to international stardom.

Their popularity in the U.K. surged following the release of their debut album, “Definitely Maybe,” which will celebrate its 30th anniversary later this week. The band’s second album, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” released in 1995, brought them widespread success in the United States, with hits like “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” becoming iconic 90s anthems.

“(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” also included the hit “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” where Noel Gallagher not only played guitar but also took over lead vocals.

Over the course of their career, Oasis released seven studio albums before their split in 2009, with their last album being “Dig Out Your Soul,” released in 2008.

The band boasts three RIAA platinum-certified albums, including “Definitely Maybe,” “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” and “Be Here Now,” which came out in 1997.

They also have two RIAA gold-certified hits with “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova,” and a gold-certified long-form video album titled “There and Then,” which covers the band’s “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” Tour.

Since the band’s split, Liam and Noel have pursued individual careers. Noel founded Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, while Liam started a band called Beady Eye and also embarked on a solo career.

In a 2015 interview with ABC News, Noel mentioned he was not on speaking terms with his brother. Over the years, the two have publicly traded insults through statements, social media, and interviews. However, it seems they have reconciled, at least temporarily.

In recent days, both brothers hinted at the band’s reunion by posting the date of August 27 on social media platform X.
