Oasis 2025 Reunion Tour Rumors Escalate as Liam and Noel Gallagher Speak Out

After years apart, it appears Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to reunite for an Oasis reunion tour in 2025. This tour is anticipated to break Taylor Swift’s London record.

Speculation about the Gallagher brothers reconciling began with a report from The Times. The paper revealed that the brothers might announce a reunion almost exactly 15 years after Oasis played their last show.

The reunion tour is expected to kick off in the summer of 2025. According to The Times, several performances will be held in Manchester and London, specifically at Heaton Park and Wembley Stadium. One burgeoning rumor suggests that Oasis plans to perform at Wembley Stadium 10 times, surpassing Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour record of eight shows. Swift’s achievement was recently accomplished with eight consecutive performances at the historic venue. Additionally, Oasis might aim to headline Glastonbury.

2025 is significant as it marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ landmark second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? The record gained them international acclaim, featuring hit singles like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”

The Gallagher brothers have been locked in a feud since Oasis dissolved. Liam once derogatorily called Noel a “sad little dwarf.” Noel responded with equal venom, stating, “I liked my Mum until she gave birth to Liam.”

Despite their differences, there are signs of a thaw. In a video celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, Noel praised Liam’s vocal capabilities. “When I would sing a song, it would sound good. When he sung it, it sounded great,” Noel said.

He continued, “I can’t sing ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol, Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ and all that. I don’t have the same attitude as him. My voice is half a Guinness on a Tuesday — it’s all right. Liam’s is ten shots of tequila on a Friday.”

Both Liam and Noel posted a teaser on their respective social media accounts, hinting at an announcement on August 27 at 8 am. The band’s official account also shared this teaser.

A significant moment came during the 2024 Reading Festival on August 25. Liam dedicated “Half the World Away” to “the greatest songwriter ever,” Noel Gallagher. This gesture has fueled rumors that the brothers have reconciled.

Additionally, Liam responded to various fans’ comments about a potential Oasis reunion on social media. He complimented some fans’ enthusiasm as “biblical.” However, he was less kind to a negative fan, saying their attitude “stinks.”

Oasis, an English rock band from Manchester, was originally comprised of Liam and Noel Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll. They debuted in 1994 with Definitely Maybe. In the following year, they released (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Over the next 13 years, the band produced five more studio albums before disbanding.

Since then, both brothers have pursued solo careers. Noel formed Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, releasing four albums with the group. Liam has released three solo albums and collaboration albums with Beady Eye and John Squire.
