Oasis 2025 Reunion Tour Rumors Swirl as Liam and Noel Gallagher Speak Out

After years of separation, it appears Liam and Noel Gallagher are gearing up for an Oasis reunion tour in 2025. This tour is expected to surpass Taylor Swift’s London record. Speculation about the brothers coming together started with a report from The Times. The newspaper mentioned that the Gallagher brothers plan to announce their reunion 15 years after Oasis’ last performance.

The reunion tour is set for the summer of 2025. The Times disclosed that multiple concerts will be held in Manchester and London, specifically at Heaton Park and Wembley Stadium. Rumor has it that Oasis will perform 10 shows at Wembley Stadium, breaking Taylor Swift’s record of eight shows from her Eras Tour. This feat would occur within a year of Swift’s record-setting performances. Additionally, Oasis might aim to headline Glastonbury.

The year 2025 holds particular significance as it marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ seminal album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? The album catapulted the band to international fame with iconic tracks like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”

The Gallagher brothers, known for their tumultuous relationship, have a history of public feuds. Liam once referred to Noel as a “sad little dwarf,” while Noel retorted with, “I liked my Mum until she gave birth to Liam.” However, their relationship appears to be improving. In a video celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, Noel praised Liam’s vocal talents, stating, “When I would sing a song, it would sound good. When he sung it, it sounded great.”

Noel also acknowledged Liam’s unique stage presence, saying, “I can’t sing ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol, Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ and all that. I don’t have the same attitude as him. My voice is half a Guinness on a Tuesday — it’s all right. Liam’s is ten shots of tequila on a Friday.”

Both brothers had recently posted a brief teaser on their respective X (formerly Twitter) accounts, hinting at an announcement scheduled for August 27 at 8 am. The same teaser was shared on Oasis’ official account, amplifying the excitement. At the 2024 Reading Festival on August 25, Liam even dedicated the song “Half the World Away” to Noel, whom he called “the greatest songwriter ever.”

Liam has also engaged with fans on X, responding to various opinions about the potential reunion. He commended some fans’ attitudes as “biblical” while criticizing a negative fan for having an attitude that “stinks.”

Oasis, originally formed in Manchester, saw great success with their debut album in 1994, Definitely Maybe. The initial lineup included Liam and Noel Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll. The following year, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? established them as rock legends. Over the next 13 years, they released five more studio albums before disbanding.

Since the breakup, both Gallagher brothers have pursued solo careers. Noel formed Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and released four albums with the group. Liam, on the other hand, has released three solo albums and collaborated on projects with Beady Eye and John Squire.
