Oasis Announce Three New UK Tour Dates Amid ‘Unprecedented Demand’

Oasis has announced three more tour dates due to “unprecedented demand” after their reunion.

Days after the band revealed their return for 14 shows across the UK and Ireland in the summer of 2025, they have added additional performances in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh. These new dates are set for 16 July in Manchester, 30 July in London, and 12 August in Edinburgh. Tickets for all shows will go on sale at 9am on 31 August.

The additional dates mean the band will now perform five nights at Wembley, five in Manchester, and three in Scotland.

Noel and Liam Gallagher confirmed the band’s reunion on Tuesday, 27 August, after weeks of fan speculation and numerous hints. The Manchester-formed group, a defining rock band of the Nineties, had disbanded in 2009 following a heated dispute in Paris and hadn’t played together since.

In their highly anticipated reunion announcement, the band stated, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Pre-sale tickets will be available from 30 August, with a registration ballot closing at 7 pm on Wednesday, 28 August. The general sale will start in the morning of Saturday, 31 August.

Oasis has not yet disclosed ticket prices, but given the overwhelming demand, it’s likely fans will be ready to pay a premium to see their favorite band perform live for the first time in over a decade.

The band is also expected to announce special anniversary editions of their second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, in celebration of its 30th anniversary next year, coinciding with the 2025 tour. Additional dates outside of Europe may be announced at a later date.

Unverified reports suggest that Liam and Noel could earn up to £50 million from the shows alone, with potential extra income from merchandise sales, sponsorships, and other branding opportunities. While Liam has dismissed claims that the tour is purely for financial gain, the revenue will undoubtedly be beneficial. This is especially true for Noel, who reportedly paid a £20 million settlement in his divorce from Sara MacDonald.

There are also claims that the reunion tour could inject around £350 million into the UK economy, as fans spend on hotels, merchandise, travel, tickets, and shopping. This would mirror the economic boost observed from the UK leg of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour.
