Olivia Culpo, Others Find RI Top Wedding Destination

Olivia Culpo isn’t the only one who thinks Rhode Island is a top spot for weddings. A recent ranking by jewelry brand Glamira lists the Ocean State as one of the premier locations for tying the knot.

Glamira’s research identified the best states for couples to get married, analyzing a variety of factors. Rhode Island emerged as the second-best state in the nation for nuptials.

Rhode Island is just behind another New England gem; Vermont was named the best state to get married in for 2024. Here’s what you need to know.

The ranking evaluated states on a scale of 100, considering aspects like wedding attire and accessories, local food and entertainment options, venues and accommodations, and overall expenses.

The study delved into specifics such as the number of bridal stores, entertainment and event spaces, florists, and average wedding spending. Rhode Island scored an impressive 64.84 out of 100, while Vermont secured the top spot with a score of 73.88.

Rhode Island is not only a favorite for Everyday couples but also holds a special place in the hearts of several celebrities who chose to say “I do” in the Ocean State.
