Olivia Munn and John Mulaney Wed! Discover Their Intimate Ceremony Guests

Olivia Munn, 44, and John Mulaney, 41, have officially tied the knot. The couple reportedly exchanged vows over the weekend in New York at a close friend’s home. The ceremony was intimate, marking the culmination of three years of dating, according to PEOPLE. This joyful occasion follows closely after Munn opened up about her battle with breast cancer.

TMZ reports that the ceremony was exceptionally small, with only their two-year-old son, Malcolm, in attendance. Adding a special touch to the event, the legendary Sam Waterson, known for his role alongside Munn in “The Newsroom,” officiated the union. His wife, Lynn Louisa Woodruff, served as the sole witness. This marks Mulaney’s second marriage, previously married to Anna Marie Tendler, and Munn’s first.

Opting for a private wedding comes on the heels of Olivia’s challenging health journey. In March, the 44-year-old actress took to social media to reveal her breast cancer diagnosis. Along with a gallery of photos showcasing her treatment journey, she shared that her diagnosis came in May 2023. During this period, she underwent four surgeries, including a double mastectomy, and various cancer treatments, choosing to keep the ordeal private until she felt ready to share her story.

In May 2023, both Olivia and John opened up more about her health challenges and the impact on their family in an interview with Vogue. John expressed feelings of fear and protectiveness during her treatment. Despite having Malcolm in her lap and John holding her hand, he acknowledged that Olivia faced the physical fight against the disease alone. In April, she had a fifth major surgery, involving an oophorectomy and hysterectomy, removing her uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

This surgery meant Olivia would no longer be able to carry future children. However, she and John decided to try for an egg retrieval, ensuring they had options for the future. Following a specialized cancer protocol, doctors managed to retrieve two healthy embryos. Recalling the moment, Olivia shared they both cried tears of joy. It was a significant relief, not only getting the embryos in one retrieval but also eliminating the need for further risky procedures.

Congrats to the couple!
