‘Outer Banks’ Season 4: Release Date and Cast Details

The Pogues are back as “Outer Banks” Season 4 gears up to make its way to your TV screens. Filming for the season wrapped up on June 20, according to the series’ official Instagram. Familiar faces like Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Rudy Pankow, Madison Bailey, Johnathan Daviss, Carlacia Grant, Austin North, and Drew Starkey are set to return.

Season 3 concluded 18 months after the Pogues discovered El Dorado, the lost city of gold. During a commemorative ceremony, an elderly man approached the group and presented them with a manuscript belonging to the infamous pirate Blackbeard. The captain’s log contained detailed records of Blackbeard’s ship’s locations up until 1718. It appears the Pogues are set for another thrilling treasure hunt, this time in search of Blackbeard’s lost gold.

“Outer Banks” is set in North Carolina, where the residents are split into two distinct groups: the wealthy “Kooks” and the working-class “Pogues.” Central to the story is a group of teenage Pogues who are determined to solve the mystery of their friend John B.’s father’s disappearance while hunting for treasure. Throughout their journey, they encounter dangerous situations and unexpected romance.

Season 4 of “Outer Banks” was officially confirmed in February 2023 at the Poguelandia event, designed to promote Season 3 of the show in Huntington Beach, California. The announcement was made by Chase Stokes along with other cast members. Although Netflix has confirmed that Season 4 will premiere in 2024, the exact release date remains undisclosed as of now.
