Pamela Anderson Turns Down Cameo in New ‘Baywatch’ Doc to Focus on New Chapter

A new “Baywatch” documentary is making waves, mainly because iconic cast member Pamela Anderson doesn’t appear in it. Despite the Hulu doc’s promise of a never-before-seen interview with the famous “Baywatch” star, sources reveal that Pamela did not recently sit for an interview with the filmmakers. She was offered the chance to participate in the 4-part documentary but chose to skip it.

As a result, Pamela is the only original cast member who did not take part in reminiscing about the show’s legacy. Inside sources confirm that “Baywatch” is indeed a significant part of Pamela’s history, which she has embraced. There’s no bad blood or drama between Pamela and her former co-stars.

Currently, she is in a different chapter of her life. Over the past two years, Pamela has been riding bigger waves and exploring epic opportunities. This year, she has two films in the pipeline, including “The Last Showgirl,” which is already generating Oscar buzz ahead of its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend.

The documentary, therefore, will feature a reunion of many “Baywatch” cast members but without Pamela. Participating members include Nicole Eggert, Carmen Electra, Billy Warlock, Jeremy Jackson, and others.

Interestingly, David Hasselhoff’s name is not on the list of confirmed participants for the documentary. However, reports indicate that he was interviewed back in 2019 when the project began under the name “Baywatch: The Documentary.” Whether or not he appears in the final version remains a mystery.

Despite her absence from the documentary, Pamela Anderson remains a central figure in the “Baywatch” legacy. Fans will have to look forward to her upcoming films to see her on screen again. Meanwhile, the new documentary will provide an extensive look back at one of the most popular TV shows of the ’90s, featuring numerous beloved cast members sharing their memories.
