Paramount+ to Bring ‘Star Trek,’ ‘TMNT Tales,’ ‘Dexter: Original Sin’ to SDCC

Paramount+ is making a grand entrance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with a host of exciting highlights, including the debut of its animated series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a spotlight on all things Star Trek, and the upcoming Showtime series, Dexter: Original Sin.

In addition to its panel lineup, the studio is bringing The Lodge to the Gas Lamp district once again. This venue will feature various fan experiences and activations for films and series such as If, Tulsa King, Ghosts, Criminal Minds: Evolution, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Fans can also look forward to the return of the Paramount Passport, a city-wide digital scavenger hunt offering limited edition prizes.

The events will unfold from Wednesday, July 24 to Sunday, July 28.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles explores the adventures of the pizza-loving heroes as they navigate the streets of New York City. Host, writer, podcaster, and stand-up comedian Claire Lim will join the voices of Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, as well as the series producers, for an engaging discussion and a sneak peek at never-before-seen content. This panel is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, from 2:15 to 3:15 PM PT in Room 6BCF.

Dexter: Original Sin brings together showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, executive producer Scott Reynolds, and cast members Christian Slater (Harry Morgan), Patrick Gibson (Dexter Morgan), and Molly Brown (Debra Morgan). They will provide an in-depth look at the new series and reveal some exciting surprises. Moderation will be handled by Dexter: Original Sin special guest star Sarah Michelle Gellar. This panel will take place on Friday, July 26, from 5:45 to 6:45 PM PT in Ballroom 20.

The Star Trek universe will once again take over Hall H with multiple shows being highlighted. Fans can look forward to:

– Star Trek: Strange New Worlds with cast members Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck, alongside executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, and Henry Alonso Myers.

– Star Trek: Lower Decks with voice cast members Jack Quaid, Tawny Newsome, Noël Wells, and Jerry O’Connell, as well as creator and executive producer Mike McMahan and executive producer Alex Kurtzman.

– Star Trek: Starfleet Academy with executive producers and co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau.

– Star Trek: Section 31 will make its Hall H debut with cast members Omari Hardwick, Sam Richardson, and Kacey Rohl, along with executive producer Alex Kurtzman and director Olatunde Osunsanmi. The entire Star Trek segment will be moderated by filmmaker, director, and executive producer Justin Simien. This event will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 1:45 to 3:15 PM PT in Hall H.

Beyond these panels, other Paramount+ activations include The Lodge at Happy Does Bar on 340 Fifth Ave in San Diego and the Star Trek Menagerie Booth, showcasing creatures and specimens from across the Star Trek universe at Booth #3529.

For those interested in the Paramount Passport, registration is available at the official Paramount Passport website. Once registered, guests can scan items at various locations after engaging with the exhibits and earn a passport stamp. Completing visits to all seven designated locations allows guests to claim limited edition prizes at the Paramount Passport Redemption area located at The Lodge.
