Patrick Dempsey Posts Rare Photo of Daughter Talula, 22, Celebrating New Career

One might expect Patrick Dempsey’s kids to go into acting—or medicine. But according to a recent post from the Grey’s Anatomy alum, his 22-year-old daughter Talula is pursuing a very different (and delicious) sort of career.

On Monday, July 23, Patrick posted a series of colorful photos of Talula posing with baked goods on his Instagram, congratulating her in the caption:

“So proud and excited to announce @taluladempsey launched her new artwork and is now taking orders at the link on her bio @talulaskitchen.”

Patrick’s wife Jillian Dempsey also shared Talula’s big news on her own Instagram account, writing, “Proud mom moment ❤️”

On the website for Talula’s Kitchen, the baker says her “passion for the art of pastry” began “on a remarkable journey to Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris and London.” Since then, Talula worked as a pastry chef at the prestigious Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills.

A variety of treats are available for order on the site, including cookies, mini bundt cakes, berry crumbles, ricotta cakes, raspberry almond tartlets, and mini red velvet cakes. However, the pastry chef warns that she “operates as a one-woman show” and while she “strives to accommodate every request,” not all orders can always be filled.

In addition to Talula, Patrick and Jillian also share 17-year-old twin boys Darby and Sullivan. In November 2023, Patrick spoke to People about raising his three children to be the best people they can be.

“They all have unique qualities and they have their own goals that they need to develop and harvest themselves and we just try to model our behavior and hopefully they’ll pick up on that,” he said.
