Patrick Mahomes Blames Taylor Swift for Travis Kelce’s Recent Changes

When a friend suggests trying something new, it’s often greeted with skepticism. However, when a suggestion comes from your significant other, you’re more likely to consider it.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently revealed an interesting tidbit about his teammate, tight end Travis Kelce, and his relationship with mega-star girlfriend Taylor Swift.

During a town hall session with Sirius XM Radio on Tuesday night, Mahomes expressed his admiration for Kelce’s new look this season—sporting longer hair. According to Mahomes, he’s been trying to convince Kelce to switch from his traditional high-and-tight fade for quite some time, but his efforts went unnoticed.

But when Taylor Swift suggested the same thing, it apparently became a good idea.

“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out, and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it,” Mahomes shared during the interview.

While Kelce might find it a bit warmer under the helmet during the steamy August training camp practices, if Taylor thinks it’s a good idea, who are any of us to disagree?

Ultimately, if Taylor is happy, then it’s likely that Travis is more than happy to make the change.
