Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby Wow Fans with Chemistry in Fantastic Four

Vanessa Kirby and Pedro Pascal have been causing quite a stir with their undeniable chemistry while promoting the upcoming Fantastic Four film at Comic-Con.

It was confirmed in February that Pascal, age 49, would take on the role of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in the Marvel reboot. Kirby will be playing Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, with The Bear’s Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Joseph Quinn portraying Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.

While promoting the film, which is set for a 2025 release, fans couldn’t help but notice the palpable connection between Pascal and Kirby. During interviews with several publications including the Associated Press and the Hollywood Reporter, fans observed that the pair appeared deeply focused on each other.

Their close friendship was evident as they held hands and wrapped their arms around each other’s waists while posing for photos.

One fan remarked, “Vanessa Kirby and Pedro Pascal literally cannot stop looking at each other like this.” Another viewer noted Kirby’s intense gaze at Pascal while he answered questions, commenting, “I can hear every single thought Vanessa Kirby is having about Pedro Pascal in this video. Girl, get it together.”

In another clip, the duo showered each other with compliments on their Fantastic Four costumes. Kirby even admitted she finds Pascal “sexy,” leading to a giggle from Pascal.

A viewer asked, “Is she making him nervous? This answer is a mess, and he’s clutching himself so cute.”

However, not everyone was convinced by the display. A skeptical observer suggested, “They’re just acting. This is probably just chemistry work, and to be honest, it’s giving I think they’ll make a good couple in the film.” Another added, “Lol peeps. That’s called being in character. For selling the FF4 chemistry, those two are the leads. Off and on screen, they need to make the audience believe.”

The Fantastic Four film, which will be subtitled First Steps, was initially set for release on May 2, 2025, but the date has since been adjusted. The movie is now scheduled to premiere on July 25, 2025.

The Fantastic Four characters, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics, were first brought to the big screen in an earlier film. This initial adaptation followed a group of scientists who acquire superhero abilities after exposure to a mysterious cosmic storm. Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, Jessica Alba, and Chris Evans starred as the original leading quartet.
