Popular ‘Lost’ Star Joins ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff ‘The Madison’

While the original Yellowstone series is nearing its end, its legacy continues with exciting new spinoffs. Despite Kevin Costner’s departure, the franchise has secured several high-profile actors for these endeavors. Recently, another significant name from the TV world has joined the latest spinoff, The Madison, and will star alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.

The newest addition to this spinoff is none other than Lost alumni Matthew Fox. With Yellowstone attracting big stars like Kevin Costner, Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Harrison Ford, and Helen Mirren for its various series, this news marks another high point in its casting history.

Matthew Fox, known widely for his role as Jack in Lost, is set to star in the upcoming series. Fox, who also starred in Party of Five as Charlie, had stepped away from acting in 2014 to spend more time with his family. He made a brief return to the screen in 2021 in the Peacock series Last Light. At the time, Fox expressed uncertainty about whether he would act again, making his role in The Madison a significant comeback.

Fox will portray Paul, described as a “self-reliant bachelor who loves the outdoors.” This role will see him join one of today’s most successful TV franchises, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.

The Madison constitutes the third spinoff from the original Yellowstone series. It revolves around a family from New York City living in Montana’s Madison River valley. The synopsis hints at a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection,” promising a series that’s deep and engaging.

Initially, there were speculations that Matthew McConaughey would star in this series, but he is instead slated for another spinoff titled 6666. Although not officially greenlit yet, 6666 is reportedly in development.

Joining the cast alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox are Patrick J. Adams from Suits, Beau Garrett from The Good Doctor, Amiah Miller known for My Best Friend’s Exorcism, and Elle Chapman from A Man Called Otto. Notably, Michelle Pfeiffer is also taking on a producer role, adding to the anticipation for the show.

The original Yellowstone series is now gearing up for its final episodes, with six remaining that will begin airing on November 10. As fans prepare to bid farewell to the show that started it all, excitement builds for what the spinoffs will bring to the screen.

Many fans are eager to see Matthew Fox return to television and are curious about the direction The Madison will take. What are your expectations for this new series? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
