Prince Märtha Louise of Norway’s Daughters Shine at This Year’s Royal Wedding

Princess Märtha Louise of Norway’s long-awaited dream has come true. She, the daughter of King Harald and Queen Sonia, has married Durek Verrett, a spiritual healer from California, whom she met in 2018. The wedding took place at the picturesque Geiranger Fjord on Norway’s west coast. This significant occasion was witnessed by Princess Märtha’s three daughters with the late artist Ari Behn: Maud, 21, Leah, 19, and Emma, 15.

Maud Angelina, dressed in champagne like her sisters, escorted her mother to the altar where an emotional Durek Verrett awaited. Märtha Louise’s other daughters, Leah and Emma, each sported unique designs in the same elegant shade and formed part of the bridal party. During the vows, many guests were moved to tears as the couple made heartfelt references to their daughters, who remain the center of their world. The Princess promised her unwavering love to Durek, while highlighting that their daughters would always hold top priority.

Märtha Louise’s oldest daughter, Maud Angelica, took on the significant role of maid of honor. She escorted her mother to the altar, ensuring every detail was perfect. At 21, Maud wore a stunning golden dress with straps and flowing sleeves, adding to her striking red hair and a stylish chain bag. Since her father’s passing, Maud has devoted herself to mental health advocacy and uses her art as an emotional outlet. “I use my pain to create, instead of letting it ruin me,” she said. Her creations, including watercolors, sketches, prints, and abstract pieces, are showcased in galleries like Soli Brug in Norway.

The middle daughter, Leah Isadora, also shone in a fitted champagne strap dress. She arrived with her younger sister, Emma Tallulah, and they waited for their mother at the ceremony’s entrance. Leah’s boyfriend, Elliot Beer Wilse, whom she introduced over a year ago, attended the wedding as well. In a documentary she filmed with four inspiring Norwegian women, “Power Women Norway,” Leah expressed happiness for her mother’s marriage. She praised Durek Verrett, saying, “Durek has many good qualities. He is very caring, and you feel safe with him. He’s open and makes you feel seen.”

Leah added, “I see how happy mom is with him, and they make each other happy, which I really like. They are a very sweet couple.”

Märtha’s youngest daughter, Emma Tallulah, wore an asymmetrical golden dress that complemented her style, accessorized with a pendant. Passionate about horseback riding, she made her professional debut in show jumping in 2022. Like her sisters, Emma does not hold a royal title and enjoys making TikTok videos, often featuring Durek Verrett, with whom she has a wonderful relationship. The three sisters played a significant role in the royal wedding, contributing to an unforgettable celebration for their mother. Judging by their smiles, it was a joyful occasion not just for the newlyweds but for the entire family.
