Prince William and Kate Middleton Fly Economy to Scotland with Special Guest

The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, are expected to join King Charles III for his annual summer break at Balmoral. Accompanying them will likely be one of their closest aides.

Traditionally, Prince William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have traveled economically to Inverness Airport. In 2022, Kate was seen disembarking from a commercial flight with Charlotte and Louis, joined by their nanny, Maria Borrallo. William and George reportedly took a separate flight.

In 2019, the family, then known as the Cambridges, took a FlyBe flight to Aberdeen airport. Maria was seen alongside Kate, holding a then one-year-old Louis.

Maria Borrallo, originally from Spain, is a Norland-trained nanny who has been working full-time for the Wales family since 2014 when George was eight months old.

At the time of her appointment, a friend of Maria’s told HELLO!, “She has worked with other prominent high-society families in the past. It was from there that the Cambridges heard of her and hired her. She is not married and doesn’t have a boyfriend as her life is totally dedicated to the family she is working with. She is known for being totally professional – married to the job.”

Maria has accompanied the royals on numerous global trips and is often seen in her distinctive brown uniform. Before their move to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor in 2022, Maria lived with William, Kate, and their three children in London.

The Waleses’ Windsor home has five rooms, compared to Kensington Palace’s Apartment 1A, which had 20 rooms. It is believed that Maria now resides nearby.

William and Kate have spent much of their children’s summer holidays at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, close to the Sandringham estate. They were recently seen at Bear Grylls’ Go Wild festival at Holkham Hall, participating in a Nerf gun battle.

Despite undergoing cancer treatment, the Princess has made significant public appearances this year, including Trooping the Colour and the Men’s Wimbledon final. She also appeared in a video message with William to congratulate Team GB athletes on their success at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Kate and Charlotte were also spotted together at Wimbledon, highlighting the family’s continuous involvement in public events despite personal challenges.

The royal family continues to balance public duties with private family time, often supported by their dedicated staff, including Maria Borrallo, whose professional commitment provides a stable environment for the young royals.
