Prince William was caught zipping around his royal home on an electric scooter, and people think it’s the most delightfully wholesome sight.

While the royal family has historically been famous for being prim, proper, and stoic, the future king and his family have broken the mold. Between Prince Louis’ silly antics and Princess Kate’s down-to-earth kindness, they have a world of fans who love how relatable they are.

Because of that relatability, Prince William has been the subject of several headlines over the past few months. William has been a doting husband as Kate navigates cancer treatment, and he’s been a fun dad who dances at Taylor Swift concerts—among other things.

Most recently, the Prince of Wales made millions smile when a clip of him casually cruising around on a scooter hit social media. The original video has been viewed over 3 million times in only three days, and it’s had dozens of shares.

In the viral video, Prince William wears a pair of black slacks and a white collared shirt topped with a blue sweater. He’s also sporting black shades and black tennis shoes as he zooms past the camera.

“Prince William has such dad vibes, and I love it,” someone commented.

“Prince William just chilling scootering around his castle,” a commenter laughed.

Another person added, “Prince W being hip these days……dancing like no one’s watching to TS, riding scooters 👏 love that for him.”

Other commenters can’t stop laughing over the prince being so casual on the “stuffy” royal grounds.

“I’M CRYING,” a fan wrote. “IMAGINE BEING A CASTLE GUARD AND YOU JUST SEE THE HEIR TO THE THRONE ZOOM PAST YOU ON A SCOOTER.”

“Pulling up to Windsor Castle on a scooter is the funniest thing 😂,” someone admitted.

According to the Sun, Prince William bought the scooter sometime last year to help him get from his home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle to see his dad, King Charles, because it’s a “two to three-mile round trip.”

“It just makes sense,” said a source. “He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King.”
