Princess Beatrice’s Husband Shares Rare PDA Moment for Special Occasion

Princess Beatrice’s husband shared a rare photo of himself and his wife engaging in PDA in celebration of a very special occasion.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi posted the throwback photo on Instagram on Wednesday, July 17, to mark the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary. The sweet photo showed the elder daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson wearing a gorgeous white wedding dress. The royal’s long veil was held in place on her head with help from a tiara, though it was pulled back from her face so that she could kiss her then-new husband.

Edoardo was wearing a tuxedo in the photo, which captured him holding his wife’s hand as they shared the tender moment. The two appeared alone in the snapshot, surrounded by leafy green trees as they stood together on a patch of grass.

“Happy 4th wedding anniversary my love. 💍,” the property developer wrote in his Instagram caption. “Every day is so special with you. I love you so much. 💕.”

Fans gushed over the sweet moment in the post’s comment section, with many complimenting the princess on her dress while others wished the couple well on their anniversary.

Beatrice, 35, and Edoardo, 40, were married on July 17, 2020. Though they had initially planned to marry a couple of months earlier in a large ceremony, the restrictions on gatherings brought on by the coronavirus pandemic led them to instead tie the knot in a more intimate event at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park. About 20 people attended, Buckingham Palace announced at the time—including Queen Elizabeth II.

A little more than one year after their wedding, Beatrice and Edoardo welcomed the birth of Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, their first child together. Edoardo also has a son, Christopher, from a previous relationship.
