Princess Beatrice’s Weekly M&S Grocery Run Is Surprisingly Ordinary

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are no strangers to a lavish date night. From secret sunset dinners in St Tropez to hopping between London’s private member’s clubs, the royal couple knows how to spice up their romance.

Occasionally, though, even royals have to prioritize errands over fun. On Saturday, Beatrice and Edoardo were seen doing their weekly grocery shopping at Marks & Spencer in Mayfair.

Edoardo, father of two, carried the couple’s grocery bag, which included his daughter Sienna, whom he shares with Princess Beatrice, and his son Wolfie from a previous relationship.

Photographs published by MailOnline provided a peek into Beatrice and Edoardo’s shopping bag, which contained vine tomatoes and leafy greens.

It’s unknown if Princess Beatrice still strictly follows a plant-based diet. However, she did host a fully vegan 31st birthday party in 2019, complete with a dairy-free cake.

A look into her grocery bag hints that she might still be following a vegan diet. This was also her diet while working with her nutritionist and close friend, Gabriela Peacock, before her wedding and after the birth of Sienna.

Speaking with HELLO! about post-birth nutritional advice, Gabriela shared that new mums should focus on relaxing and being kind to themselves instead of rushing to get back in shape. “The baby is the priority,” she said. “Don’t judge yourself but be organized and have a loose plan in your head. It really helps.”

Princess Beatrice isn’t the only member of the royal family to lean towards a vegan diet. Before marrying Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex shared that she tries to follow a vegan and gluten-free diet during weekdays.

“I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I indulge in on the weekends,” Meghan told Best Health in 2015.

Meghan emphasized the importance of balance, stating that because of her workout routine, she never wants to feel deprived. “It’s not a diet; it’s lifestyle eating,” she said.
