Priscilla Presley Sues Ex-Associates for Financial Elder Abuse Claims

Priscilla Presley is facing a fresh legal confrontation. The 79-year-old, who was married to Elvis Presley from 1967 until 1973, is taking legal action against several of her former business associates for financial elder abuse and other complaints, as reported by Us Weekly.

On Thursday, July 18, attorney Marty Singer filed a lawsuit against four of Presley’s former associates: Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, Vahe Sislyan, and Lynn Walker Wright. The suit alleges that these individuals planned to deplete Presley’s finances completely. The accusations state that they meticulously schemed to exploit an elderly woman by gaining her trust, isolating her from her key support network, and convincing her that they would manage her well-being and finances responsibly.

The lawsuit further claims that the defendants aimed to seize control of Presley’s financial resources, effectively forcing her into a form of indentured servitude. This plan would have required her to continue working while the accused reaped the majority of any future earnings she could generate.

The legal documents singled out Brigitte Kruse, labeling her as a “con artist and pathological liar.” It alleges that Kruse and Fialko misappropriated, embezzled, and converted over $1 million from Presley. Additionally, it claims that the pair fraudulently coerced Presley into signing contracts that would let them keep 80 percent of her income.

According to the legal filings, Presley met Kruse in 2021. At the time, Kruse managed an Elvis Presley memorabilia business. Presley, who is the widow of the iconic singer, co-founded Elvis Presley Enterprises and has served as a chairperson. She has played a crucial role in directing the multi-million dollar empire associated with Elvis’s estate.

The legal documents allege that over two years, Kruse, Fialko, Sislyan, and Wright managed to establish a personal relationship with Presley. This allowed them to gain her complete trust and isolate her from her long-time business and financial advisors. The lawsuit asserts that the group fraudulently obtained “power of attorney, control over her family and personal trusts, and control over her bank accounts.”

Notably, this lawsuit by Presley comes months after Kruse and Fialko filed their own legal action against her, accusing her of breach of contract. Singer had previously denied these claims on Presley’s behalf. In response, the new lawsuit contends that Kruse and Fialko were attempting to falsely portray themselves as victims after their scheme was discovered.

Presley is now seeking a jury trial and $1 million in damages, in addition to attorney fees. She aims to prevent the defendants from accessing her financial assets.
