Queen Camilla joined a group of British royal family members and celebrities at an event in London on Tuesday. She showcased her unique take on summertime florals while hosting the National Literacy Trust charity’s 30th anniversary at Clarence House.

For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a midi dress by one of her preferred designers, Fiona Clare. The long-sleeve dress featured a romantic floral pattern with a navy base color, green leaves, and cream-colored flowers beautifully cascading over the fabric.

To keep the attention on her ornate dress, Queen Camilla chose a pair of taupe suede pumps by Eliot Zed. She accessorized with jewelry from Kiki McDonough and Van Cleef & Arpels.

During the event, Queen Camilla mingled with attendees, including 10-year-old Literacy Champion Jayden Lowndes. Many guests echoed the floral theme, showcasing their personal interpretations of the style.

Recently, several members of the British royal family have also embraced floral patterns. While Queen Camilla attended the National Literacy Trust event, Princess Beatrice was at Wimbledon for the quarterfinal matches on Tuesday. Seated in the royal box with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice wore a vibrant floral shirtdress by Monique Lhuillier, featuring lace detailing.

Floral designs were also prominent among other royal members at the 2024 Royal Ascot, including Princess Beatrice, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Zara Tindall.

However, Queen Camilla’s affinity for playful patterns, including florals, isn’t new. During the royal family’s trip to Scotland for Holyrood Week on July 2, she donned two different floral outfits, both designed by Fiona Clare, along with a brooch from Queen Elizabeth II’s jewelry collection.

Queen Camilla often prefers a particular dress silhouette but doesn’t shy away from incorporating lively patterns, illustrating her ability to embrace tradition while expressing her own personal style.
