Queen Maxima of the Netherlands showcased her admiration for florals through her jewelry during a recent royal visit to the neighborhood of Zevenbergschen Hoek. The queen’s outfit was completed with a glittering statement necklace, mirroring her renowned sense of style.
For this event, Queen Maxima opted for an ensemble by one of her favorite designers. She chose a short-sleeve light pink shirt paired with tailored, high-waisted, wide-leg white trousers from Belgian fashion label Natan Couture. To complete her look, she wore nude patent leather pumps by Ferragamo.
In terms of accessories, Queen Maxima carried a clutch by Hermès and adorned herself with sparkling jewelry. The highlight was a bold floral statement necklace.
The necklace featured large, glittering gemstones in varying shades of pink. Designed by St. Erasmus Artisanal Jewelry, the piece served as the perfect centerpiece for her outfit, encapsulating the royal’s distinctive style.
Among European royals, Queen Maxima is particularly noted for her distinctive fashion choices and impressive wardrobe. Though she occasionally opts for power suits, her style often leans towards a playful and whimsical aesthetic.
Her penchant for florals has been evident in several recent public appearances. Last April, at the launch of Amsterdams Stagepact MBO at Capital C, she donned a long-sleeve day dress with floral embroidery by Oscar de la Renta, featuring an A-line silhouette. In May, she attended the five-year anniversary of Codam Coding College in Amsterdam, pairing a Natan Couture dress with a Maison Fabienne Delvigne hat adorned with a flower at its center.
Florals remain a preferred motif for Queen Maxima. While they are a common trend during the spring and summer seasons, she often adds a personal, fanciful twist to her floral-themed outfits and accessories.
