Queen Rania Shares Heartwarming Photo with Granddaughter Princess Iman

Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan has shared a heartwarming family photograph to celebrate his mother, Queen Rania’s, 54th birthday.

On this special occasion, the future King of Jordan, aged 30, posted a touching image of his mother cradling his newborn daughter, Princess Iman. In the photograph, Queen Rania is seen lovingly holding her granddaughter while sitting on a plush sofa, embodying the essence of a doting grandmother.

Known for her exquisite taste in fashion, Queen Rania opted for a more laid-back look, donning jeans, a white tank top, and a navy jacket. Her trademark raven hair fell in bouncy waves, and she accessorized her casual ensemble with a chunky gold necklace, a blush pink manicure, and smokey eyeshadow.

Meanwhile, Princess Iman looked adorable swaddled in a floral blanket, wearing a candyfloss pink hat.

In his caption, Crown Prince Hussein wrote a loving tribute to his mother:
“Forever grateful for your love and endless support. Happy birthday to my beloved mother!”

The new parents, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa, welcomed their daughter in August. Princess Iman bint Hussein is the first grandchild of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II, 62.

The Royal Hashemite Court officially announced the birth of Princess Iman, stating: “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein were blessed, on 3 August 2024, with a baby girl they named Iman.”

Shortly after the couple welcomed their first child, Queen Rania took to social media to express her joy. She penned a heartfelt message saying, “Praise be to God for His greatest gifts… You have enlightened our lives with our precious granddaughter, Iman.”

She continued, “May God protect us from you. Congratulations to Hussein and Rajwa, and may God fill your lives with blessings and contentment.”

Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa wed on 11 June 2023, in what was deemed the ‘royal wedding of the year’. The ceremony took place at Zahran Palace in Jordan, the same venue where Prince Hussein’s parents married in 1993.

The couple’s nuptials were attended by royals from around the world, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and Princess Beatrice.

The Royal Hashemite Court announced the couple’s pregnancy in April, coinciding with Princess Rajwa’s 30th birthday.
