This fall, Reba McEntire is making a grand return to The Voice while also stepping into a starring role in a new sitcom, Happy’s Place. The country music star is hoping for an exciting crossover between her two shows.

Reba recently chatted with TV Insider and shared her excitement about the potential for a crossover. The sets for The Voice and Happy’s Place are conveniently located next to each other, making it easier to bring her fellow coaches on board for a guest appearance.

“Snoop wants to be on the show. Michael Bublé wants to be on the show,” Reba said. “Gwen will just come visit. She didn’t say she wanted to be on the show.”

Reba’s former Reba co-star, Melissa Peterman, who will also be starring in Happy’s Place, is certain that Gwen Stefani would be eager to make a cameo. “She’ll want to [be on the show],” Melissa stated. “When she comes and hangs out, she’ll want to.”

Melissa added with enthusiasm, “Maybe Gwen could play my sister! I said that because I want everyone to think that we look a lot alike. She’s just awesome.”

In Happy’s Place, Reba plays Bobbie, a woman who inherits her late father’s restaurant and discovers a half-sister she never knew about, Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo. Melissa Peterman takes on the role of Gabby, Bobbie’s best friend and bartender. Additionally, Reba’s real-life boyfriend, Rex Linn, stars as a cook named Emmett.

The 26th season of The Voice premieres on NBC on October 18 at 8/7 C. Happy’s Place will debut on September 23 at 8/7 C on NBC.
