Fans have been letting their imaginations run wild regarding potential plots for the upcoming “Shrek 5.” One Reddit user, u/Dave_FortniteATX, humorously envisioned a scenario where Shrek, Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz), and Lord Farquaad (voiced by John Lithgow) appear on the television show “Maury” to determine the real father. Another user, u/tristinaaron, suggested a unique visit to Alice’s Wonderland with an unexpected twist. “They slowly realize that Wonderland is a cult and they have to escape,” the user proposed.

Many fans have also drawn parallels to other popular franchises. For instance, some have pictured the Shrek characters in a parody of “The Avengers,” while u/FazzyFredbear floated the idea of them meeting Spider-Man. One particularly creative user envisioned an operatic parody intertwining various properties, including “The Wolf of Wall Street,” where Shrek’s life spirals out of control while speculating on the onion market.
