Report: Dominic Purcell Clashes With Wife Tish Cyrus’ Ex, Billy Ray

Dominic Purcell isn’t fond of Billy Ray Cyrus. According to the National Enquirer, Purcell has issues with his wife Tish’s ex-husband. The tension reportedly arises from Cyrus trying to reinsert himself into Tish’s life following his recent divorce.

A source revealed to the National Enquirer that Purcell doubts Cyrus’s sincerity in apologizing for his past treatment of Tish. “Dominic doesn’t believe Billy Ray is genuinely sorry for the way he’s treated Tish – he thinks it’s just an act,” the source stated. This report came out before Cyrus finalized his divorce from Firerose. “Billy Ray is going through the worst time of his life with the divorce and all these money problems,” the source added, describing Cyrus as “incredibly needy and attempting to lean on Tish and get sympathy.”

The insider continued, “He realizes he made a huge mistake, needs a reset, and wants to make things right. But Billy Ray treated Tish like garbage for so many years and Dominic sees himself as her protector.” The source also mentioned Tish’s view on the matter, saying, “Tish sees him as ten times the man Billy Ray will ever be. Their marriage is solid, they’ve done their therapy, and Billy Ray’s the personal-space invader that neither of them wants.”

The informant concluded with a sharp remark, “He can take his achy breaky heart elsewhere!”

Billy Ray Cyrus was first married to Cindy Smith from 1986 until 1991. Two years later, he married Tish. Their marriage lasted from 1993 until 2023, and they share three children: Miley, Braison, and Noah. Tish filed for divorce in April 2022 and has since married actor Dominic Purcell.

Cyrus’s relationship with singer Firerose became public in 2022, and they wed in October 2023. The pair split earlier this summer, and their divorce was finalized in August.
