Restaurant’s Bold Tribute to Simone Biles’ Olympic Success is Turning Heads

Seemingly everywhere she goes, Simone Biles is being celebrated for her success at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

This time it was local Chicago restaurant Maple & Ash that showed its admiration for Biles, an 11-time medalist who won three gold and one silver nearly two weeks ago at the Paris Games, when her and her husband Jonathan Owens stopped in Saturday evening.

In a photo posted to Owens’ Instagram story, Biles posed for a picture with a menu the restaurant had waiting for her that read “Olympic f—in champion” plastered on the front.

The photo is no longer on Owens’ or Biles’ stories as the one-day time limit has expired to view it, but the couple posted more recent Instagram stories of themselves sharing a kiss on the sideline from Saturday’s game, and Biles posted a few selfies from a suite at the stadium.

Biles made headlines earlier on Saturday after showing up to Owens’ preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket, though it was a custom-designed one that was filled with photos of Owens during his time with the franchise in 2023.

This weekend, the local Chicago restaurant Maple & Ash honored Biles, who has earned 11 Olympic medals including three gold and one silver at the recent games. During a Saturday evening visit, she and her husband, Jonathan Owens, were warmly welcomed.

Owens shared a photo on his Instagram story where Biles posed with a special menu prepared by the restaurant. The menu boldly read, “Olympic f—in champion” on the cover, signifying the immense respect and admiration they hold for her.

Although the Instagram story has since expired, subsequent posts from the couple depicted them sharing a kiss on the sidelines of a game. Biles also posted a few selfies from a suite at the stadium, capturing their joyful moments together.

Earlier that Saturday, Biles attracted attention by attending Owens’ preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, donning a Green Bay Packers jacket. This unique piece was custom-designed and featured photos of Owens from his tenure with the Packers in 2023.
