‘RHOC’ Star Tamra Judge Looks Unrecognizable Post-Cosmetic Procedure

Healing takes time — that’s what Tamra Judge is learning as she continues to recover from a recent cosmetic procedure that has caused some intense swelling.

The 57-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star underwent some work on September 1, revealing she had a brow lift and a blue chemical peel, a non-surgical procedure aimed at tightening skin and correcting wrinkles, according to People. She has been documenting her recovery and healing process on social media, sharing updates on her appearance just days after the procedure, including facial swelling and peeling that have made her look almost unrecognizable.

The dramatic change hasn’t only surprised fans; even her own mother, Sandy Baker, had some harsh words about the appearance of her healing face. In a video shared to her Instagram on September 2, Judge said she “literally can’t stop laughing” at the screenshots of text messages she received from her mom. She told her followers, “You guys know where I get my empathy from, right?”

“Your face literally makes me want to throw up,” her mom wrote, followed by another text saying, “It looks so painful, and you don’t look like yourself.”

Even her mom’s friends are curious about what happened to her, with her mom writing that “One of my friends called and asked if you had been in a motorcycle accident.”

Judge has maintained her sense of humor throughout the exchange, joking about the comments in the video’s caption, where she wrote, “Keeping it 💯 runs in the family. 😂” Meanwhile, “things are looking up” in her healing process as she has “only had one pain pill” and is dealing with being “just a little crisp around the edges.”
