‘RHOC’s Tamra Judge Reveals Painful Swelling After Plastic Surgery’

Tamra Judge recently gave fans an update on her recovery from plastic surgery. The Real Housewives of Orange County star had a brow lift and shared her progress on social media. Her video displayed her noticeably swollen face, as she detailed her healing journey so far.

In her update on Instagram on Sunday, Tamra revealed that it had been three days since her brow lift. Her face appeared swollen and patchy in the clip, and she noted that this period was supposed to be the worst regarding swelling. “You can see it’s all the way down my chest, but you can imagine what it feels like,” she said.

Later in the day, the video showed Tamra’s swelling worsening. She admitted that it felt like her skin was ready to “burst” and mentioned that it was starting to get “oozy.” Tamra also shared that she could barely open her eyes due to the swelling.

“Hoping to turn a corner tomorrow. Little oozy [on] my neck and chest, the swelling is pretty bad but it doesn’t really hurt. It just feels really tight,” she shared with her followers. Tamra also mentioned that her doctor assured her things would improve after the third day.

She captioned her post, “Day three and the swelling’s making a statement. Progress isn’t always pretty, but it’s happening.”

The RHOC star has been transparent about her brow lift surgery and recovery process since Saturday, August 31. Just an hour into her recovery, she posted a clip showing her face wrapped in bandages and explained that her eyes were blurry due to “vaseline” or something similar in them.

Tamra expressed her gratitude to her doctors, Dr. Donald Mowlds and Dr. Ambe, for their care. Along with the brow lift, she underwent a CO2 laser treatment and a blue chemical peel. She mentioned that she had a lower facelift seven years ago but skipped the upper part of her face. “Like painting the house but forgetting the trim,” she jokingly commented.

The Bravo star has always been open about her ventures into plastic surgery. On a previous episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she referred to her lower facelift as a “comeback.” She quipped, “It’s just a mini. Don’t call it a facelift, call it a comeback! That’s my season 13 tagline.”
