‘RHONJ’ Stars Clash Over Gaslighting Claims

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Rachel Fuda has seemingly reacted to her co-star Teresa Giudice’s recent social media post about hate. Fuda opted to handle the situation covertly, choosing not to address Giudice directly. Instead, she shared the definition of “gaslighting” and posted a quote about hypocrisy. Fans of RHONJ have begun to speculate that these were subtle digs at Giudice, with whom Fuda has had ongoing issues throughout Season 14.

As reported by Page Six, Fuda shared a series of Instagram stories, including one with the quote, “There’s nothing funnier than a hypocrite with a bad memory.” Another story featured information about gaslighting, explaining how gaslighters use manipulative tactics to distort others’ perceptions of reality.

Fuda wasn’t the only housewife making waves. Melissa Gorga, Giudice’s sister-in-law and longtime rival, shared her own thoughts. A fan account, @allabouttrh, posted Gorga’s story where she cautioned followers to “beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing,” which many believe was aimed at Giudice’s Instagram post. The drama escalated when Giudice’s friend and fellow RHONJ star Jennifer Aydin commented on Gorga’s post with “Pot, meet kettle.” Lala Kent also agreed with Giudice’s message and shared it on her Instagram.

With talks of a possible rebranding for RHONJ, Melissa Gorga is looking forward to changes within the cast. Andy Cohen, the show’s producer, recently acknowledged the need for a rebrand during an episode of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM. Speaking to Page Six, Gorga expressed her excitement about the possibility of fresh faces joining the show.

Throughout Season 14, the tension between the cast members has reached new heights. The longstanding rivalry between Gorga and Giudice was further inflamed when an X (formerly known as Twitter) user accused Giudice and Aydin of leaking false stories to the media. This intense drama ultimately led to the cancellation of the traditional reunion special for the first time in the show’s history.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gorga admitted that the show’s environment has become extremely toxic. Given this atmosphere, it’s no surprise she is open to change. While discussing the potential new cast members, Gorga mentioned she is comfortable with the network’s decisions. She stated, “I don’t make demands. I come to work. I have a very strong relationship with the show. So, I feel like whoever they decide to cast — or not cast — I’m fine.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey continues to air every Sunday on Bravo, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
