Jill Zarin’s daughter, Ally Shapiro, is engaged!

The 31-year-old shared the exciting news by posting a photo on her Instagram Stories on Friday, August 16, where she and her new fiancé, Jordan Bilfeld, gleamed with happiness. Shapiro proudly displayed her new diamond engagement ring, adding a colorful animated caption that exclaimed, “OMG.”

Zarin, 60, expressed her joy and surprise by sharing footage of the proposal, which took place during a family cruise trip in Europe. The video, captured from a restaurant balcony, showed dining guests applauding while Shapiro and Bilfeld stood near an outdoor swimming pool with a photographer capturing the special moment.

“I am speechless!” Zarin wrote. “Gary, Ally, Jordan, and I have spent the last week on a Celebrity Cruise in Europe, and we get off tomorrow. After lunch, Jordan asked Ally to go for a walk on the beach… mind you, after it poured for 30 minutes.”

The Real Housewives of New York alum continued, “Gary and I were just waiting for the check. We heard cheering and clapping, and I started clapping and walked over to see over the railing. Guess who just got engaged? Surprise!”

“Mazel Tov to my beautiful daughter and her fiancé Jordan Bilfeld. We could not be happier to welcome him and his family to ours,” she added. Jill mentioned that she was still in shock and had “ZERO clue” about the proposal beforehand.

On Shapiro’s Instagram Stories, she shared more moments of her surprised reaction. In one photo, she held her hand over her mouth, sporting her diamond ring with the sea and coastline in the background. Another image showed her and Bilfeld kissing on what appeared to be the deck of the boat as the sun set.

Shapiro also posted a clip showing herself sipping a cocktail at a restaurant before the proposal, revealing she was “completely clueless” about what was about to happen. “5 min before I was getting proposed to,” she captioned the video. “It was pouring, and I was drinking my spritz, completely clueless.”
