‘RHOSLC’ Star Lisa Barlow Sued Again for Unpaid Tequila Business Loans

‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Lisa Barlow and her husband are facing legal trouble again. They are being sued by someone who claims they borrowed a significant amount of money for her Vida Tequila company but never paid it back.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, William M. McGeary claims that John Barlow, Lisa’s husband, informed McGeary’s son that Vida Tequila needed funds for raw materials to fulfill orders.

McGeary says he agreed to loan them $400,000 through his trust, with clear terms that the repayment was due by December 27, 2023. He claims he even sent a letter in November to remind them about the repayment, but states that Lisa, John, and Vida Tequila haven’t paid back any of the money.

This new allegation bears a resemblance to a previous situation involving Lisa, Vida Tequila, and another company she owns, Luxe Marketing. In June, a man named Bart Carlson sued them over loans amounting to more than $410,000, which he claimed he provided over the past decade.

Lisa dismissed Bart’s claims at the time, insisting she had always been diligent with her payments and was prepared to hold Bart accountable for any damage his lawsuit might cause to her business.
