Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Faces Backlash for Sharing Naked Selfie with Kids

Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s latest post has ignited a heated debate among her followers. The controversy arises from her decision to share a naked photo in the same post that included pictures of her children.

On August 1, Huntington-Whiteley shared a series of photos from her trip to Beverly Hills. She posted them on Instagram with the caption, “BHH ☕️.”

In the photo set, there is an image of a coffee cup with decorative coffee art, followed by a picture of her and Jason Statham’s daughter Isabella strolling around a mansion. Another photo shows Huntington-Whiteley goofing around at the gym. The sequence continues with a snapshot of her son Jack and a friend’s daughter enjoying colorful ice cream and a sweet picture of Jack hugging her while she’s engaged in pottery.

The series also includes images of the home they stayed at, Huntington-Whiteley posing in a bikini, and the now-controversial photo of her completely nude on a massage table, strategically covering her breasts and one leg.

This last image has sparked divided opinions. Numerous fans argue that the nude photo is inappropriate among pictures of her children. Criticisms include comments like “Oooh girl the last pic was not necessary,” “Kids and nudity in one! What’s wrong with you lately,” and “Naked, again?”

Conversely, some followers have praised her for her confidence and physical appearance. Positive comments include, “The comments on this suck. Rosie, you’re UNREAL 🔥,” “You’re beautiful in every way,” and “It’s her body, get a life.”

As of now, Huntington-Whiteley has not addressed the controversy. She regularly posts photos showcasing her body, often modeling lingerie for her brand, but this particular post has garnered unusual backlash due to the inclusion of her rarely-seen children.

For those unfamiliar with her family life, Huntington-Whiteley and her fiancé, actor Jason Statham, have been together since 2010, having met at a party in London. They got engaged in early 2016 and have two children: a son, Jack Oscar, born on June 24, 2017, and a daughter, Isabella James, born on February 2, 2022.

In an earlier interview, Huntington-Whiteley shared how supportive her circle of mom friends has been. “I’m always fascinated to learn how working moms juggle it all. How all moms juggle it all. Because it’s a juggling act whether you’re working or not,” she said. “I personally always leave conversations with other mothers feeling that I learned something or feeling inspired or comforted by their advice or opinions on things.”
