Rumer Willis recently shared an update on her father, Bruce Willis, regarding his health as he continues to navigate life with his dementia diagnosis. According to reports, the actress provided fans with the latest news about the Die Hard star while answering questions on social media.

Rumer replied to a heartfelt inquiry about her father’s well-being, saying, “He is great. I love him so much. Thank you,” accompanied by a touching photo of them holding hands. It was in 2022 when Bruce Willis’ family announced he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects communication abilities.

The family’s statement in 2022 revealed that Willis would be stepping away from his acting career due to his diagnosis. “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” the family wrote at the time.

A year later, it was confirmed that Bruce Willis’s condition had progressed to “frontotemporal dementia,” a term that covers a variety of diseases impacting the brain’s frontal and temporal lobes. These areas are responsible for personality, behavior, and language.

Aside from her father’s health, Rumer Willis also disclosed details about her personal life, mentioning her split with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas. She clarified that she is now focusing on “single-moming” and co-parenting. She expressed gratitude for the support from her family, which has grown even closer since Bruce’s illness.
