Ryan Reynolds Reveals His and Blake Lively’s 4th Child’s Name at Premiere

Ryan Reynolds revealed the name of his and Blake Lively’s youngest child during a speech at the premiere of Deadpool and Wolverine in New York City on Monday, July 22. The actor, 47, shared the stage with director Shawn Levy and several co-stars. He announced that their fourth child is named Olin, according to People.

While speaking at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center, Reynolds showed appreciation for his wife, 36, and their children. He complimented Blake’s appearance and expressed joy at having his family at the event. “Her outfit is amazing, spoiler alert,” he said, per Today. He then added, “I want to thank my kids, James, Inez, Betty, and Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—that is, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life.”

Aside from his joke about the movie’s potentially shocking content, Reynolds admitted he was thrilled to share the moment with his loved ones. “I love that my entire family is here,” he told the audience.

However, Ryan didn’t disclose the sex of their fourth baby. The couple welcomed their fourth child quietly in February 2023. After Blake gave birth, they kept most details about the baby private, though Ryan gradually spoke about adjusting to life with four children in various interviews.

Since adding to their family, Ryan has also joked about their close friend Taylor Swift babysitting. The pop star, a good friend of Blake’s and famously linked to the song “Betty,” which includes names inspired by Ryan and Blake’s kids, has been the subject of Reynolds’ comedic remarks. During an interview with E! News, he jested about Taylor’s babysitting rate. “The cost of that is…I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive.’ But I think what he meant was, ‘Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant,’” he shared with the outlet.
