The Billboard 200 revealed the closely contested results on Tuesday after a delay due to the Labor Day holiday. Sabrina had vowed to secure a win in honor of Nicki Minaj, referencing the memorable 2018 showdown between Nicki’s “Queen” and Travis’s “Astroworld” albums.

Nicki Minaj even gave Sabrina a shoutout during a livestream, highlighting the camaraderie between the artists. Their connection hints at a possible future collaboration, especially given that both are signed to Universal Music Group.

Despite taking the No. 2 spot, Travis Scott’s fans have reason to celebrate. His “Days Before Rodeo” project, now a decade old, achieved the biggest Hip Hop album debut of the year. Although some fans feel he deserved the top position after leading most of last week, finishing second is still an impressive feat.

The tight race between these two albums underscores the challenges within the current rap scene, where few new releases have made a significant impact.
